Adobe Causing NVIDIA Driver to Crash/Stop
Recently had an issue wherein pulling up a PDF within Acrobat would cause my NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M driver to stop completely. Very annoying. Turns out the driver that was installed was an NVIDIA driver from 12/2010 (it’s 9/2011 right now). So, I updated the driver from NVIDIA’s site and that appears - at least for now - to have fixed it. We’ll see. (File this under: “troubleshooting” and “just in case someone else encounters this and looks for a solution.”)
